G Jones Construction Ltd of Newtown is a family run business which was founded by Gareth Jones in 2005 as a sole trader within the construction industry. We specialise in steel frame buildings, steel fabrication, portal frame buildings, sectional buildings, general purpose storage buildings, building maintenance and groundworks in Powys, Wales, and across the UK.

Due to substantial growth we began trading as a limited company in 2010. Gareth has over 20 years’ experience within the construction sector starting from general labourer in his late teens to being company director. In 2014 we grew from our home office to a new office premises, this quickly followed on in 2015 with us taking our fabrication in house and opening our own workshop. In 2016 we gained our EN: 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 which enables us to be CE compliant.  

2018 has seen us relocate our head office and take on our biggest project to date with the installation of a block plant manufacturing facility in London. Alongside the supply of the building we fabricated and installed curing rails and racks to facilitate the block plant that was to be housed within the building and undertook all the foundation construction for the project, complete with the fabrication and installation of steel pits.
